So from a security perspective, it is advisable to choose shielding and fiber optic cabling systems. The characteristic of transportation construction is that the construction area is relatively large. If it involves the connection between different construction sites, it reflects the decreasing number of cables along the pipeline, which is an extended star network. The backbone cable routing is very long, so it is advisable to use a fiber optic cabling system.
When it comes to questions about electromagnetic interference from electromechanical equipment, cables should also consider their shielding properties. It is important for hospitals to consider the transmission bandwidth requirements of cables and the electromagnetic interference issues of medical equipment. Due to the large area occupied by hospitals, numerous buildings, and diverse functional requirements, it is necessary to consider them as a multifunctional construction group. According to the cable layout requirements between buildings, a shielded wire+fiber optic cabling system is more suitable to meet the needs of many conditions.
The second type is intermediate users, who primarily handle comprehensive data, sound, or multimedia information, with a certain scale but low requirements for information transmission speed, represented by mid-range office buildings, factories, campuses, and smart communities. This type of construction usually uses fiber optic cables as the backbone during wiring, with Category 5e copper cables (or Category 6) selected for horizontal wiring, and Category 3 large logarithmic copper cables commonly used for voice lines. For example, the comprehensive cabling within campus construction is the overall cabling of a construction group, which requires more consideration for the construction of network backbone optical fibers. Other campuses have more functions, such as teaching buildings, experimental bases, public lecture halls, libraries, science museums, and student dormitories. However, the overall demand for networks is relatively low, so most level systems will choose Category 5e cables. Of course, we also consider the needs of some individual occasions and choose six types of cables horizontally, such as science museums.
The third is ordinary users, whose primary need is to be able to achieve information transmission, such as ordinary residential buildings. The comprehensive wiring of residential construction has two characteristics:
·Using a home integrated wiring box to complete the wiring function, but without processing information (such as communication, storage, processing, and transmission);
·Combining wiring management with information processing should actually be called "home information wiring equipment", which not only has wiring functions, but also has information exchange and transmission for telephone and network, as well as the conversion and transmission of household intelligent control information such as meter copying and urgent call for help. Usually, pure copper cables are used for wiring, emphasizing high quality and low price.
In the comprehensive cabling product line, there is a solution plan for first-line entry, which primarily uses cross shaped modules and adopts a special plan for first-line entry. It can simultaneously transmit one data channel and two telephones on a Category 5e UTP cable, saving investors a lot of funds and having excellent cost-effectiveness.
Every active electronic and electrical device may generate electromagnetic interference to damage network communication. With the increasing use of electronic devices, this question has become increasingly prominent. In the consideration of selecting cables and cable wiring, how to prevent electromagnetic interference to maintain communication is also a crucial question.
All network components, including the selected connectors and patch panels, must have measures to resist EMI interference. Proper termination of cables and connectors, as well as good grounding of cable sheaths, are crucial when using shielded cables. Any incomplete shielding will decrease the maintenance function of the shielding layer, thereby reducing the power to resist electromagnetic interference (EMI). The routing of cables should follow the methods recommended by the manufacturer and try to prevent potential signal source interference. Here, we should fully consider the indicators stipulated by the rapidly developing international standards related to cable routing. Fluorescent lamps, elevator motors, automatic doors, and air conditioning units are all potential sources of electromagnetic interference. The older the equipment, the greater the electromagnetic interference it generates. For electromagnetic interference sources that cannot be prevented or overcome, the use of closed metal conduits can be considered as providing rated maintenance methods for the wiring system. In specific electromagnetic interference or sensitive environments, using optical fibers may be the only option.
