1、 The current development status of charging piles under the wave of new energy
As of the end of November 2025, China's charging facilities (guns) have reached 19.322 million (+52% year-on-year), including 14.697 million private piles (76.1%,+57.8% year-on-year) and 4.625 million public piles (+36% year-on-year, with an average power of 45.34 kW), with a pile to vehicle ratio of approximately 1:2.07 and a scale. Technologically upgrading to 350kW+/480kW overcharging and 800V platform adaptation, expanding the scope of light storage charging and V2G pilot projects, and improving compatibility with national standards. The market is concentrated at the top (with special calls accounting for over 60% of public piles), and is shifting from "competing in quantity" to "improving efficiency and filling gaps (rural/high-speed)". Policies are promoting "doubling in three years", focusing on safety and service optimization.
2、 The technological development trend of charging stations
Charging pile technology is iterating towards "faster, smarter, more energy-efficient, and safer", and the core trend can be summarized into six points:
1. Supercharging and acceleration: The mainstream upgrade is towards 350kW/480kW, compatible with 800V high-voltage platforms, with a replenishment of 300km+in 10-15 minutes. Commercial vehicles are piloting megawatt level fully liquid cooled supercharging.
2. Device and heat dissipation upgrade: Silicon carbide (SiC) devices have become standard, with an efficiency of 98%; Fully liquid cooled coverage gun line/module, supporting continuous high current output.
3. Intelligent and vehicle network interaction: AI predictive operation and maintenance, V2G bidirectional charging and discharging scale pilot, automatic charging robot landing, improving efficiency and grid coordination.
4. Integrated photovoltaics, energy storage, and charging: The deep integration of photovoltaics, energy storage, and charging reduces grid dependence and peak valley arbitrage, and improves system efficiency by 3% -5%.
5. Safety and standardization: Full chain insulation/arc/temperature monitoring, GB/T series standard unified interface and communication, strengthened fire and explosion prevention.
6. Expansion of energy replenishment forms: Wireless charging is upgraded to 50kW, commercial vehicle battery swapping is standardized, and it complements supercharging.

4、 Product selection of AIM-D series DC insulation monitoring instrument
The AIM-D series DC insulation monitoring instrument is designed specifically for DC systems and is used for detecting grounding faults in ungrounded DC systems. When a grounding fault occurs in the DC system, an insulation fault alarm signal can be issued.

5、 Application of DC Insulation Monitoring Instrument
Application in DC charging stations
The electric vehicle charging device generally consists of a cabinet, multiple AC to DC charging modules, an intelligent switching unit, measuring instruments, controllers, contactors, charging guns, etc.

This example is a dual gun 120kW DC charging station. The intelligent switching unit controls the charging module, the DC meter measures current, the insulation monitor measures insulation voltage and insulation resistance, and the insulation monitoring is controlled by the controller. When the charging station is in use and charging gun A or B is used separately, the controller sends a command to control the corresponding IMD 1 or IMD2 insulation monitoring instrument to perform insulation monitoring; When charging guns A and B are used simultaneously, the controller sends a command to control IMD 1 insulation monitoring device to perform insulation monitoring. By coordinating the operation of the controller and insulation monitoring device, the safety, stability, and reliability of the DC charging system are ensured.
Application of Energy Storage Insulation Monitoring
There are mainly two types of insulation monitoring schemes for energy storage: external insulation monitoring instrument scheme and internal insulation monitoring instrument scheme. Ankerui insulation monitoring instrument is applied in external solutions, which are fixed and highly replicable.
