Recently, in order to thoroughly implement the national and provincial deployment on the construction of zero carbon parks, the Wuxi Municipal Government issued the "Three Year Action Plan for the Construction of Zero Carbon Parks in Wuxi City (2025, 2027)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan"), which clarifies the overall goals, main tasks, and guarantee measures for the construction of zero carbon parks in Wuxi in the next three years.

Building a "1+4" system:

The Plan proposes that Wuxi will take building a zero carbon park as its core task, supporting the construction of zero carbon factories, integrated projects of source, network, load and storage, virtual power plants, and zero carbon service institutions, forming a "1+4" work system, and promoting the city's green and low-carbon development.

By the end of 2027, Wuxi will achieve the following goals:

① Build more than 10 zero carbon parks and pass the acceptance inspection;

② Build more than 20 zero carbon factories;

③ Complete more than 10 integrated projects of source network load storage;

④ Cultivate 20 registered virtual power plants;

⑤ Introduce 10 green and low-carbon innovation platforms at or above the provincial level;

In terms of zero carbon park construction, the plan has been clearly definedSix main tasks: developing green and low-carbon industries, building a zero carbon energy supply system, breaking through key zero carbon technologies, promoting the green transformation of infrastructure, optimizing resource recycling efficiency, and improving the level of intelligent management of energy and carbon.

Accurate carbon emission accounting: Strictly connect with the "Zero Carbon Park Evaluation Standards" and other related indicator systems, adopt a carbon emission accounting factor database, and achieve online monitoring and automatic intensity accounting of carbon emissions. Carbon asset management: Provide carbon asset management functions for the park, including carbon inventory, carbon quota management, carbon emission analysis, carbon flow, carbon inventory report, and carbon trading records, to help the park establish a comprehensive carbon emission statistics, accounting, reporting, and verification system. By calculating the carbon quota gap of enterprises in real time and formulating a combination strategy of "energy storage participating in peak shaving+green power procurement", the carbon cost of enterprises can be reduced. Virtual power plant(VPP)As a park level energy router, it aggregates various resources such as distributed photovoltaics, energy storage, and adjustable loads, participates in electricity demand response and auxiliary service markets, and creates additional economic benefits for the park. For example, a certain industrial park achieved an annual revenue of 3.8 million yuan through the virtual power plant function of EMS3.0, while enhancing the flexibility and stability of the park's energy system, and strengthening the park's ability to respond to changes in the energy market.

Practical Case of Ankerui EMS3.0 Empowering Zero Carbon Park Construction

Taking a zero carbon demonstration park in Jiangsu Province as an example, the park faced problems such as low energy utilization efficiency, difficulty in absorbing new energy, and extensive carbon emission management before introducing the Ankerui smart energy management system. After introducing the AcrelEMS3.0 system, the park has achieved a green transformation.

In terms of energy consumption management, by monitoring and optimizing the energy consumption of the electrical equipment of enterprises in the park through the system, the overall energy consumption of the park has been reduced by more than 25%. After implementing the renovation, the production efficiency of the enterprise is not affected, but rather improved, while the energy cost is significantly reduced.
