Answer: "Shared parking" is an important scenario function in city level parking platforms led by the government. According to MRCPO, the China Parking Network Market Research Center, as of July 2023, 13 out of 35 key cities in China have launched shared parking services. MRCPO evaluates the shared parking function of the platform based on four aspects: accessibility of the shared parking section, completeness of shared parking lot information, shared parking operation process, and access to shared parking lots.

The evaluation results show that the "staggered sharing" section of Shanghai parking ranks first with a high score of 97. From 2017 to 2019, Shanghai listed the "Creating Parking Resource Sharing and Utilization Project" as an annual municipal government practical project for three consecutive years. The promotion department and work objectives were determined, and the task division of each responsible unit was clearly deployed according to the schedule. A work promotion mechanism of "guidance from municipal departments, deployment by district governments, and implementation by streets and townships" was established. Through the establishment of work teams, holding sharing work promotion meetings, sharing coordination meetings, and other methods, relevant parking lots and garages were discussed on sharing matters.
