Precision grade linear platform

Linear platform with precision grinding screw ensures smooth operation. The combination of recycled ball bearings and stress relieving aluminum bases ensures excellent performance parameters.

Recirculated ball bearings

After careful assembly, recirculating ball bearings have various characteristics such as high load capacity, long service life, maintenance free use, and high guiding accuracy. The moving parts of the platform are supported by four preloaded linear spherical bearings that move on two guide rails. Each bearing unit consists of two independent circulating ball bearings.

Drive type

•. xDD variant: DC servo motor can achieve an average speed of up to 20 millimeters per second

•. xDG variant: DC servo motors with reduction gears can achieve high torque and high resolution at low motor power

•. xSD version: Two phase stepper motor, low cost, used for small displacement with micro stepping

The non-contact optical reference point switch with directional sensing is located at the midpoint of the stroke. The motor shaft is equipped with an integrated rotary encoder (a variant with a DC servo motor).
