Swedish AQ Sensor Application Industry
AQ Group in Sweden is a manufacturer of components and systems for high demand industrial customers. Business is divided into two parts: systems and components. The system includes our business areas of electrical cabinets and system products. The components include our business areas of injection molding, inductive components, wiring systems, and sheet metal processing.
Since its establishment in 1986, AQ Elteknik in Sweden, as a branch of AQ Group, has been committed to providing customized technical solutions. Over the years, we have developed numerous products that meet customer requirements and technical needs. The company has expertise in many different fields, which means that by integrating these expertise, customers' product ideas can be turned into reality.
Several products currently developed by AQ in Sweden have become standard products in the industry and are widely used in pharmaceutical production.
The product categories include:
Swedish AQ air sensor
Swedish AQ temperature sensor
Swedish AQ level switch
Swedish AQ heater sheath
Swedish AQ power mixer
Our clients mainly come from the pharmaceutical and food industries. We also assemble/produce equipment cabinets, electrical equipment, and control systems for the manufacturing industry.

Principle of Bubble Detection
By using ultrasound to monitor bubbles in the liquid flowing through the air sensor.
Inside the air sensor, two low-intensity ultrasonic beams pass through the liquid path in a direction perpendicular to the liquid flow.
If the bubble moves to one of the ultrasound beams, the ultrasound will be partially deflected and the intensity will decrease. The controller continuously measures the intensity of ultrasonic waves, and if it falls below the threshold, it will detect bubbles. Dense particles in liquids can also deflect ultrasonic waves and can therefore be detected. In order to achieve very low sensitivity to bubbles, different techniques are used to measure the damping effect of the liquid on the vibration of the air sensor wall.
sensitivity
The sensitivity of bubbles can be set to high, medium, low, very low, and very low.
When the sensitivity is set to high, a single bubble with a diameter of about 2mm or larger can be detected passing through the air sensor.
When the sensitivity is set to medium, individual bubbles with a diameter of about 3mm or larger can be detected.
When the sensitivity is set to low, a single bubble with a diameter of about 10mm can be detected. Low sensitivity is achieved by requiring two detectors to simultaneously detect bubbles in an air sensor.
Together, we discovered many small bubbles that looked like a big bubble. If there are many bubbles, even tiny (microscopic) bubbles can be detected. When using very low sensitivity, the air sensor should be installed with a vertical liquid flow rate, otherwise the droplets left inside the air sensor can be detected as liquid. Very low sensitivity suitable for air sensors with a diameter<14 mm.
air sensor
Monitor the liquid flowing through the air sensor through ultrasound and check for the presence of bubbles or the presence of bubbles.
Particles were detected through the connected ultrasonic controller. Air sensors are reliable and easy to use. It is integrally formed, with a smooth interior and low Ra value.
The air sensors SAC, CCS, and FCS are made of 316L stainless steel and can be steam disinfected.
The cables of air sensor FCS and air sensor FCP are fixed and cannot be removed.
The air sensor CCS has a fixed cable with a connector.

PAC, FCP:<1 micron/<40 microinches.
The standard pipe connection method is TC, but customized pipe connection methods can also be provided according to requirements.
The wetted parts of the air sensors SAC and FCS are made of 316L stainless steel, with a grade of EN 1.4404, but they can also be made of stainless steel.
Other stainless steel grades can be ordered, such as 316L - EN 1.4435 or 904L - EN 1.4539.
The wetted part of the air sensor CCS is made of 316L stainless steel, with a grade of EN 1.4435.
The wetted parts of the air sensors PAC and FCP are made of polypropylene (PP).
