How to maintain the rain system of xenon lamp weathering test chamber

The maintenance of the rain system in the xenon lamp weathering test chamber should focus on nozzle cleaning, water quality management, filtration system maintenance, and regular inspections to ensure spray uniformity and equipment stability. ‌

Water quality management and tank maintenance: Deionized water or purified water should be used for the rainwater system to reduce the deposition of scale and impurities; The water in the water tank needs to be replaced regularly. It is recommended to replace it once a month. When it is not in use for a long time, the water tank should be emptied and ventilated to prevent microbial growth or corrosion. ‌

Cleaning and maintenance of nozzles: Nozzles are prone to clogging due to scale, impurities, or microorganisms and require regular inspection

Turn off the power and drain the remaining water before disassembling the nozzle, and use tools to avoid damaging the threads.

During physical cleaning, a fine needle (≤ 0.5mm diameter) can be used to gently pass through the hole or an ultrasonic cleaning machine can be used to shake for 10-15 minutes.

Chemical cleaning can be done by soaking in white vinegar or 5% citric acid solution for 30 minutes. For stubborn stains, use a cleaning agent, then rinse and dry.

If the nozzle is worn, corroded, or unevenly sprayed after cleaning, it should be replaced in a timely manner. ‌

Filter system maintenance: The filter bottle or filter core at the inlet end of the equipment needs regular maintenance: the filter bottle should be soaked in NaCl solution for 24 hours every year and then rinsed; The filter core should be replaced every 6 months according to the water quality. If it is visually dirty, it should be treated immediately. When cleaning, turn off the water source first, use a wrench to unscrew the filter cup, replace the filter core, and then reseal it. ‌

Regular inspection and calibration: It is recommended to check the nozzle flow rate, water pressure (usually 0.12-0.15MPa), and spray angle every quarter to ensure compliance with standards; The overall equipment needs to be calibrated annually by a qualified institution, with a focus on detecting rain parameters such as nozzle density and water flow rate, and recording the records; Before resuming use after long-term disuse, a comprehensive inspection of waterway patency and electrical safety should be conducted. ‌

Daily operation precautions: Avoid using water or chemicals to directly rinse electronic components during cleaning, only use a soft cloth or vacuum cleaner to remove dust; The transmission mechanism needs to be regularly lubricated with 20 # engine oil to prevent the failure of the speed sensor; The environment should maintain a temperature of 15-25 ℃ and humidity below 85% to reduce dust accumulation and the risk of malfunctions. ‌
