Reasonable use of campus lifting anti-collision columns can improve safety levels
Date: 2025-06-13Read: 0
Campus lifting anti-collision column is an intelligent facility used to strengthen the safety management of campus entrances and exits. It is mainly used to control vehicle traffic, prevent vehicle collisions, and also take into account pedestrian convenience.
Features
Vehicle control: Through lifting control, unauthorized vehicles (such as social vehicles and suspicious vehicles) are restricted from entering the campus to ensure the safety of teachers and students.
Anti collision design: The column body is usually made of high-strength materials (such as stainless steel, alloy steel), which can withstand a certain level of impact and prevent malicious jamming.
Flexible lifting: Supports automatic/manual lifting, allowing vehicles (such as school buses and emergency vehicles) to be released during peak hours and closed during other times.
Linkage system: It can be linked with campus security systems (license plate recognition, access control, monitoring) to achieve intelligent management.
Emergency response: In case of an emergency (such as firefighting or rescue), the column can be quickly lowered to ensure smooth passage.
Type Selection
Automatic lifting column:
Electric/hydraulic drive, remote control or central control room control.
Fast lifting speed (usually 3-5 seconds) and strong durability.
A main road suitable for high-frequency use.
Semi automatic lifting column:
After manual unlocking, it automatically lifts and lowers, with lower cost.
Suitable for budget limited or secondary channels.
Fixed anti-collision pillar:
Cannot be lifted or lowered, as an auxiliary facility to enhance protection.
Installation precautions
Foundation construction: Pre embedded foundations are required to ensure the load-bearing capacity and stability of the columns (usually at a depth of ≥ 1 meter).
Power supply: Automatic models require reserved power supply and waterproof design.
Drainage design: To avoid the impact of surface water on the lifting function.
Warning signs: Install reflective strips, warning lights or signs to avoid accidental collisions at night.
Maintenance and Management
Regular inspection: Test the lifting speed, hydraulic system, and circuit stability.
Cleaning and maintenance: Remove debris around the column to prevent jamming.
Winter protection: Antifreeze treatment is required in northern regions to prevent hydraulic oil from solidifying.
