A speaker refers to a device that can convert audio signals into sound. It refers to the built-in power amplifier in the speaker host box or subwoofer box, which amplifies and processes the audio signal before playing back the sound from the speaker itself, making the sound louder.

The speaker system is one of the important components of audio equipment, usually composed of speakers, dividers, enclosures, sound-absorbing materials, etc. A speaker is the terminal of the entire audio system, which converts audio electrical energy into corresponding sound energy and radiates it into space. The failure rate of the speaker system is relatively low, and there are few types of failures. There are four common types of failures.

1. Silent. This type of malfunction may be caused by the following concentrated situations: ① broken speaker wiring or abnormal frequency divider, ② broken voice coil, ③ broken speaker lead, ④ burnt voice coil.

2. Sometimes there is no sound. This type of malfunction may be caused by the following concentrated situations: ① poor speaker lead, ② broken or about to short circuit voice coil lead, ③ poor contact of power amplifier output socket or broken input line of speaker.

3. Low volume. This type of malfunction may be caused by the following concentrated situations: ① poor performance of the speaker, ② decreased magnetism of the magnet, ③ loose magnetic core column, ④ abnormal frequency divider.

4. Abnormal sound. This type of malfunction may be caused by the following concentrated situations: ① There are impurities in the magnetic gap, ② the voice coil core is wiped, ③ the paper tray is broken, ④ the box is poorly sealed.
