The density units are kg/m ³ and g/cm ³, and the liquid density unit commonly used in industry is g/cm ³. The measurement methods for density include float type, weight type, radiation type, etc. Here, only differential pressure type and vibration type are introduced.

Vibrating liquid density meter
Utilize the functional relationship between the transverse free vibration frequency of the catheter and the density of the liquid inside the catheter (filled with the catheter). When a conduit filled with liquid is vibrated perpendicular to the axial direction, a conduit filled with liquid and having the same cross-section can be regarded as a transverse vibration of an elastic body whose mass changes with the density of the liquid. Density changes can be converted into vibration frequency changes for measurement. In the following example, a density of 0.5-2.0g/cm ³ can be measured.
