When the control word KG2.15=0, the motor start discrimination is activated. When the motor meets the starting conditions, the setting value of overcurrent section I protection adopts the high value of overcurrent section I current. The ratio differential protection can choose whether to use the functions of "doubling the setting value" and "increasing 50ms delay" through the control word. When the control word KG2.15=1, the motor start discrimination is exited, and the setting value of overcurrent section I protection adopts the low value of overcurrent section I current. The ratio differential protection no longer has the additional function of avoiding unbalanced current during motor starting.
When the starting mode of the motor is direct starting, the control word KG2.14 should be exited. When the starting mode of the motor is other starting modes such as voltage reduction starting, the control word KG2.14 should be put into operation.
If self starting discrimination is required during the operation of the motor, control word KG2.4 should be activated. If self starting discrimination is not required, control word KG2.4 should be deactivated.
When the control word KG2.14=0, the starting time of the motor determined by the device is Min (Tstart, Tstart0). Among them, Tstart is the actual starting time of this time, which refers to the time elapsed from the moment when the maximum phase current suddenly changes from zero to 10% In (T0), until the current drops to 120% In (In is the rated current of the motor, the same below) after passing the peak value; Tstart0 is the "fixed value of motor starting time", which represents the time for the motor speed to reach the rated speed from zero, and can be set to 1.2 times the longest starting time of the motor.
When the control word KG2.14=1, the starting time of the motor determined by the device is fixed at Tstart0, and the timing starting point is T0 time.
The device defines the last soft pressure plate light (green LED light) on the panel as the motor starting time indicator light, which stays on during the motor starting process to visually indicate the starting process of the motor.
Excessive starting time of the motor will cause the rotor to heat up, endangering the normal operation of the motor. The protection function for long starting time can be activated or deactivated through a soft pressure plate. This protection is only activated when the motor is started. During the starting process, if any phase current exceeds the set current and reaches the set time, the long start protection will activate at the outlet, and the action indicator light will be the last signal light (red LED light) on the panel. After the starting process of the electric motor is completed, the protection will automatically exit.
