Introduction:

Immersion electric heater, as the name suggests, is a heating device that immerses an electric heater into a liquid for heating. Its main feature is that when the electric heater is immersed in the liquid, the energy emitted by the electric heater is absorbed by the heated liquid, resulting in high energy efficiency. In addition, it has the advantages of small size and easy control, and is widely used in fields such as petroleum, chemical, and metallurgy. It is an ideal heat exchange equipment in the petrochemical industry. There are many types of structures for immersion electric heaters, commonly used ones include threaded type, flange type, and so on.

Immersion electric heaters consist of a heating core and a protective sleeve. The heating core uses a tubular electric heating element as the heat source, and the protective sleeve is made of carbon steel pipe or stainless steel pipe. It has a large heat dissipation area and fast heat transfer. The wiring terminal device is divided into ordinary types, which use iron stretched cup shaped covers, and special types, which use bolt type explosion-proof device covers for sealing. It meets the requirements of meeting the IP54 series standard for explosion-proof mark d Ⅱ BT4 protection level.

The immersion electric heater is connected to the oil tank body via a flange. The sheath isolates the heating element from the heated oil. When replacing the electric heater, there is no need to drain the oil from the tank. Simply remove the heating element and replace it with a new one, making maintenance convenient.

Instructions for using immersion electric heater:

1. The working voltage shall not exceed 1.1 times its rated value, and the casing shall be effectively grounded.

2. The dimension 'B' in the picture must be completely immersed in oil (and checked regularly) to avoid burning out, and the heated oil should be free of corrosive gases.

3. The installation hole size of this electric heater is 65mm.

4. This model of heater is designed according to the JB2379-78 standard for flowing oil, with a surface load of 2-3.8w/cm2 on the heater

5. When selecting, the size of the heater should be determined based on the actual size of the heating medium.
