Oil drum electric heater is a specialized electric heating device used to heat oil drums, chemical drums or other liquid containers. It is suitable for industrial, chemical, food processing and other fields to ensure that the liquid inside the drum maintains a suitable temperature, prevent solidification or viscosity increase.
Application scenarios
Industrial lubricant heating: prevents low-temperature solidification and ensures the normal operation of the lubrication system.
Chemical raw material insulation: such as resin, asphalt, paraffin, etc., to maintain fluidity and facilitate transportation.
Food industry: Heating edible oils, syrups, chocolates, etc. to prevent crystallization or hardening.
Laboratory: Precise temperature control heating reagent tank (PID temperature control type).
Installation and usage guide
1. Installation method
Package style: Wrap the heating belt around the barrel and secure it with Velcro or straps.
Bottom type: placed directly under the bucket to ensure a smooth contact surface.
Immersion type: Insert the electric heating rod into the liquid to avoid dry burning.
2. Safety precautions
Do not dry burn: The heater must come into contact with the liquid or be tightly attached to the barrel wall. Heating without load is prone to damage.
Explosion proof environment: Flammable liquids must use explosion-proof models (such as in the chemical and petroleum industries).
Regular inspection: Check for aging of wires and temperature controllers to avoid short circuits or overheating.
