The BK-LL1 radar flowmeter uses millimeter wave radar technology to achieve non-contact water level and flow velocity measurement by sending microwave signals and measuring their echo time. Millimeter wave radar can penetrate rain and fog, providing high-precision and stable measurements 24/7. Its working principle is based on the difference in propagation speed of microwaves in air and water media, thus accurately obtaining water level information. In addition, this technology has the function of automatically identifying positive and negative flow velocities, ensuring data reliability through the use of advanced algorithms.
The radar flowmeter host then uses the built-in "water level - cross-sectional area algorithm" and "relationship algorithm between surface velocity and laminar velocity" to obtain the cross-sectional area and flow rate.
