#Using optical transceiver

Using the conventional RS485 communication method can lead to communication abnormalities. To solve this problem, we have decided to use an optical transceiver within the budget, converting RS485 to optical signals and then back to RS485 from optical signals.

#What should I do if there are too many buses?

After solving the front-end communication issue, we encountered the problem of a large number of RS485 buses in the data center.

The electronic fences of the three plots need to be connected to the same computer room using RS485 communication, which has a long communication transmission distance and requires the use of optical transceivers. Due to the long perimeter distance and multiple infrared radiation protection zones, there are many RS485 buses connected to the computer room at the front end. Therefore, we use a hub to concentrate the bus signals into four buses that can be connected to the alarm host normally. Due to the fact that the old alarm host can only connect to two buses, we have added another alarm host for management and disarming.

Because there are two A7 alarm hosts in the backend, and there is only one electronic map, we will configure both alarm hosts in conjunction with the electronic map and manage it simultaneously.
