With the rapid development of science and technology, high-tech products have been constantly updated and upgraded. EST has been striving to utilize the latest life safety technologies provided by technological development in its products. In 1995, EST launched a major initiative: advocating the Signature Series composite detection technology.
Nowadays, the new generation of fire alarm system EST3 has unique features that have never been seen in previous products, thanks to the application of new technological achievements.
1. Large system capacity: A multi priority EST3 network can connect up to 64 node machines. Each node machine can be equipped with up to 10 intelligent feature circuits, and each circuit can provide 250 device monitoring addresses. The capacity of a single node machine is 2500 points, and the total system capacity is 160000 points. The large capacity of EST3 is its obvious advantage.
2. Multi priority network: EST3 uses Token Ring network communication technology with multiple priorities. Implement point-to-point communication between node machines. Due to the provision of multiple priority processing technology, the time for any device alarm signal under a node machine to be transmitted to the fire center node machine for display does not exceed 3 seconds. And this time is independent of the size of the system. Compared to traditional Token Ring communication, there has been a significant improvement in performance.
3. Fast system response time: It can be said with certainty that the fire alarm industry has been constantly striving to shorten the system response time. In fact, most existing manufacturers' systems have to receive an alarm signal within 12 seconds after the alarm is triggered even under low load configurations. But EST3 has once again greatly reduced the system response time: the full load response time in the loop is 750 milliseconds (less than 1 second), and the full load response time in the network is 3 seconds, much shorter than the current industrial standard.
4. High operational reliability: Operational reliability is crucial for any life and property safety system. EST3 automatically monitors all circuits contained in the system and diagnoses important components installed in the system at all times. If the system detects a device malfunction, it will immediately issue a fault alarm on the operation panel. If any disconnection is detected in any part of the network, immediately reorganize the disconnected part and reconfigure it into a sub network. Even in the event of a short circuit in the network cable, it can still function normally. The automatic environmental compensation function enables the system to automatically adjust the alarm setting value based on the pollution status of the detector. With the application of composite detection technology, the false alarm rate of EST3 has been almost reduced to zero.
5. Targeted programming tool: EST3 uses a user programming interface called SDu (System Definition Utility), which eliminates the need to define your system operations page after page with extremely complex programs,
Just define a few simple "rules" and "objects" at the system prompt to generate a complete executable program. This is the current advanced goal oriented programming method. While maintaining flexibility, highlight the characteristics of the life safety system. The application of SDU technology greatly improves programming efficiency and reduces program debugging, modification, and maintenance costs.
6. Support intelligent feature series products: EST3 * supports the new generation of intelligent feature series (Signature Series) products. Equipped with automatic mapping of probe connections (including "T" connections). Automatically assign addresses to probe modules. Automatically adjust the sensitivity of the detector on time. Support report generation. Support barcode input address. The broadcast based search method is used on the circuit line, greatly reducing the amount of communication data and allowing the connection between detectors to use ordinary wires (non twisted pair).
7. Multi channel audio transmission system: Currently, only EST3 can simultaneously transmit 8 types of digital voice information through a pair of twisted pair cables, providing high-quality digital audio signals for emergency broadcasting and fire calls. When used in conjunction with a fire alarm telephone control unit with a LCD display screen, EST3 provides a new fire emergency communication system.
8. Simple and intuitive operation panel: Users of EST3 can operate it almost without further training. The characteristics of the EST3 operation interface are: a large (168 character) LCD display, continuous initial and final alarm display, thin film buttons with text or graphics, international standard operator numbers, replaceable prompt labels, and energy-saving background lighting.
