Explosion proof combustible gas detector is a safety device used to detect the concentration of combustible gases in the air and issue an alarm when it reaches a dangerous level, especially suitable for industrial sites with explosive gas environments.
Application scenarios
Petrochemical industry: used in refineries, chemical plants, oil depots, gas depots and other places to detect the leakage of various flammable gases, prevent explosions and fire accidents.
Gas industry: Monitor gas leaks in natural gas filling stations, urban gas pipelines, gas boiler rooms, and other places to ensure the safety of gas use.
Coal industry: In coal mines, coal storage sites, etc., detect the concentration of combustible gases such as methane to prevent gas explosion accidents.
Power industry: In substations, distribution rooms and other places, detect the leakage of flammable gases such as hydrogen to ensure the safe operation of power equipment.
Selection Guide
Select detectors based on their usage environment: Choose appropriate explosion-proof level, protection level, and working temperature range according to the hazardous level, temperature, humidity, pressure, and other environmental conditions of the location. For example, in harsh outdoor environments, detectors with a protection level of IP66 or higher should be selected.
According to the selection of detection gas: clarify the type of combustible gas that needs to be detected, and select the detector corresponding to the detection principle and range. Different combustible gases may have different response characteristics and sensitivities under different detection principles.
Select detectors with corresponding functions based on functional requirements, such as on-site display, sound and light alarm, relay output, data transmission, etc. If remote monitoring and data recording are required, detectors with communication interfaces such as RS485, Modbus, etc. should be selected.
