TVR elastic cable is a flexible cable that uses elastic materials as insulation and sheath, mainly used in mobile devices and control circuits.
Usage scenarios
Mobile device power supply
If used for mobile equipment such as cranes, trolleys, and transmission machinery, priority should be given to models with steel wire rope/hemp rope reinforced structures (such as TVR basic type) to enhance tensile performance.
If hanging is required for use (such as electric hoists), TVRC self-supporting cables are recommended, as their design can reduce tensile damage to the cables caused by external forces.
High altitude or complex environments
In scenarios such as hanging baskets and high-altitude work equipment, choose the TVR-J intermediate reinforcement type to enhance the cable's resistance to bending.
Industry adaptability
For working conditions such as metallurgy, ships, ports, etc. that require oil and corrosion resistance, it should be confirmed that the cable sheath material is oil resistant elastomer and verified whether it has passed relevant industry certifications.
Key points for installation and maintenance
Laying condition control
The laying environment temperature should be ≥ 0 ℃ to avoid low-temperature brittleness of the sheath.
The bending radius should be ≥ 6 times the outer diameter (unarmored) or ≥ 12 times the outer diameter (armored/shielded structure).
Monitoring of usage process
Regularly inspect the surface wear and aging of the cable sheath, and promptly replace damaged areas.
Avoid long-term overload or friction with sharp objects to extend service life.
