It is reported that this is the European submarine cable project obtained by Oriental Cable.

SSE plc, formerly known as Scottish and Southern Energy plc, is a British energy company headquartered in Perth, Scotland. SSE is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is one of the constituent stocks of the FTSE100 index. SSE mainly operates natural gas and telecommunications networks, as well as other energy supplies, and is one of the six largest energy markets in the UK. The project unit SSEN is a subsidiary of SSE Corporation.

The Skye Harris Island Connection Project of Southern Scotland Electricity Network (SSEN) is located in the northeast of Scotland. The submarine cable system will be used to connect Skye and Harris islands to meet the electricity needs of nearly 20000 households on the island. The project will be delivered next year.
