GND is a key reference point in the circuit, providing voltage reference, current loop, noise suppression, and common ground consistency. Wiring is necessary, otherwise the signal will fail and the equipment will be damaged. Typical wiring scenarios include microcontroller control, multi module systems, and long-distance transmission. Connect GND correctly to ensure the stability and reliability of the circuit.
The "GND (ground)" in the control signal module is a crucial reference point in the circuit, and its function and wiring requirements are as follows:
The core function of GND
1. Voltage reference standard
All signal voltages (such as digital signals and analog signals) are measured with GND as the reference. For example, when the module outputs "high level 5V", it is actually "5V relative to GND".
2. Current circuit path
Electronic circuits require a closed loop to function. The signal current starts from the positive pole of the power supply, passes through the module and load, and finally returns to the negative pole of the power supply through GND.
3. Suppress noise interference
GND provides a low impedance circuit for high-frequency noise and electromagnetic interference, avoiding signal distortion caused by potential fluctuations (especially in analog or high-speed digital signals).
4. Common ground consistency
When multiple modules or devices are interconnected, common ground (sharing the same GND) can eliminate the potential difference between different devices and ensure stable signal transmission.
