The necessity and importance of winter lightning protection

Although winter lightning is relatively rare, its harm should not be underestimated. Special industries such as aviation need to be more vigilant about winter thunderstorms, cold waves, thunderstorms that exhibit a linear distribution and are difficult to detect by radar, which increases the probability of aircraft being struck by lightning. In daily life, winter lightning protection requires a multi pronged approach: closing doors and windows to prevent spherical lightning, turning off electrical appliances to avoid induced lightning, and using cars as emergency lightning protection spaces. Ski resorts and other outdoor places in winter should improve lightning protection facilities, reduce static electricity risks by increasing humidity and reducing the wearing of synthetic clothing. Only by fully understanding the particularity of winter lightning can we achieve scientific prevention and ensure the safety of life and property.
