Instructions and precautions for using SRY immersion tubular electric heater
Date: 2024-09-13Read: 0
The SRY immersion tubular electric heater has a simple structure, high thermal efficiency, good mechanical strength, and good adaptability to harsh environments. It can be used for heating various liquids and acid-base salts, and is also suitable for heating and melting low melting point metals. Suitable for heating air, oil, water, chemical media, hot pressing molds, melting salts, alkalis, and low melting point alloys. It has the characteristics of high thermal efficiency, long service life, high mechanical strength, easy installation, safety and reliability.
Instructions:
Allowable error of working voltage: not greater than 1.1 times its rated value, and the shell should be effectively grounded.
Working environment: Relative humidity not exceeding 95%, no explosive or corrosive gases.
The 'B' in the external dimension diagram must be completely immersed in oil (and regularly inspected) to avoid burning out, and the heated oil should be non corrosive. When melting solid oils such as asphalt and paraffin, the voltage should be reduced and then increased to the rated voltage after melting. To prevent heat concentration from reducing the lifespan of components. The outlet end must be kept dry and clean to avoid surface flickering or short circuits. The components should be stored in a dry place. If the insulation resistance drops below 1M Ω due to long-term storage, they can be dried in an oven at around 200 ℃ for several hours (or the components can be low-voltage energized for several hours) to restore the insulation resistance.
Notes:
1. The component is allowed to operate under the following conditions: A. The relative humidity of the air is not greater than 95%, and there are no explosive or corrosive gases. B. The working voltage should not exceed 1.1 times the rated value, and the casing should be effectively grounded. C. Insulation resistance ≥ 1M Ω, dielectric strength: 2KV/1min.
2. Electric heating tubes should be properly positioned and fixed, and the effective heating area must be completely immersed in liquid or metal solids. Empty burning is strictly prohibited. When scale or carbon deposits are found on the surface of the pipe body, they should be removed and reused in a timely manner to avoid affecting heat dissipation and shortening the service life.
3. When heating molten metals or solid nitrate, alkali, asphalt, paraffin, etc., the operating voltage should be reduced first, and only after the medium melts can it be raised to the rated voltage.
4. When heating air, the components should be arranged in a cross and even manner to provide good heat dissipation conditions, so that the air flowing through can be fully heated.
