The HAIP platform is a core achievement of Southern Hospital, Huawei, and medical industry partners in deepening medical engineering collaboration and promoting digital medical innovation. The platform is positioned as a hospital exclusive "AI operating system", integrating scattered AI capabilities into a shared, evolving, and empowering unified digital base by coordinating the computing power, data, and model resources of the entire hospital. It promotes the transformation of medical AI construction from "single point deployment and scattered application" to "unified planning and global collaboration".
HAIP adopts a three in one architecture of "capability base, intelligent center, and tool engine", relying on independent innovation computing power bases such as Ascend and Kunpeng to build a 100% independent innovation AIDC computing power cluster;
DCSThe AI container base achieves computing power segmentation and intelligent task scheduling, increasing AI computing power utilization by more than 30%. By providing a unified data view for the entire hospital through an AI data lake, we can completely break down data silos and build a "data granary" for AI training; The knowledge base, memory bank, and KV Cache acceleration capability of the AI data platform enable millisecond level retrieval response, improving inference accuracy. At present, Southern Hospital has implemented scenario based applications such as the comprehensive management model for chronic kidney disease - "Smart Kidney", perioperative anesthesia management model - "Southern Smart Anesthesia", pathology AI assisted diagnosis, medical record quality control, electronic medical record AI assistant, and "Southern Medical Xiao Zhi" intelligent agent center, covering clinical diagnosis and treatment, patient service, scientific research innovation, and operational management.
In the future, Southern Hospital will build a hospital level AI resource system through the cloud edge collaborative architecture of the general artificial intelligence platform HAIP and the general artificial intelligence assistant HAIC, carry out the construction of AI full scenario smart hospitals, and turn smart hospitals into "sustainable system engineering", realizing AI empowerment of doctors and grassroots, and helping to balance the layout of high-quality medical resources; At the same time, it supports the accumulation of expertise from renowned traditional Chinese medicine experts in hospitals into reusable digital assets, providing a replicable path of "intelligent base+business process empowerment" for global medical institutions.
During the forum, Southern Hospital and Huawei, together with several top hospitals and partners across the country, jointly released the "White Paper on Hospital General Artificial Intelligence Platform Technology". The white paper system elaborates on the HAIP design concept, technical architecture, and application scenarios, clarifies the core requirements and challenge response plans for medical AI construction, builds an open, efficient, and secure industry value system, and provides standardized reference and practical guidance for the national intelligent hospital AI platform construction.
In addition, Southern Hospital, together with Huawei and industry partners, unveiled the joint innovation laboratory for medical AI full scenario smart hospitals. The laboratory is based on collaborative innovation in medical engineering, integrating Huawei's globally leading digital intelligence base, clinical experience from Southern Hospital, and ecological partner resource advantages. It connects the transformation link of AI achievements from scientific research and development to clinical implementation, accelerates the transformation of intelligent medical innovation research achievements from the laboratory to the application front line, and from pilot scenarios to full scenario landing and coverage.
