1. Water hose connection: When the fire hose is connected to the water hose interface, a layer of soft protective material must be placed on it, and then tied tightly with galvanized iron wire or hose clamps to secure the copper fire hose interface.

2. The use of hose buckles. When using a fire hose, the high-pressure resistant hose should be connected to a location close to the water pump. The hose should be prevented from twisting or suddenly bending after being filled with water, and the hose interface should be protected from collision and damage.

3. Laying of water hoses. When laying water hoses, it is necessary to avoid sharp objects and various oils. When laying water hoses vertically upwards, water hose hooks should be used. When laying water hoses through traffic arteries, the water hose interface should be padded with a water hose bridge. When passing through railways, water hoses should pass under the track to avoid water hoses being crushed by wheels and intermittent water supply.

4. Prevent icing. In the harsh winter season, when water supply needs to be suspended at a fire scene, in order to prevent the water from freezing, the water pump needs to run slowly and maintain a small water output.
