DQM stainless steel explosion-proof gland headerection sequence:
One According to the wiring requirements of the distribution box, strip off the appropriate length of cable outer sheath to expose the metal armor.
II Take appropriate length of armor and cut off excess parts to treat the cable.
III Thread the processed cables through parts 6 and 5 in sequence, with part 6 equipped with a sealing ring attached to the cable sheath, as shown in the stuffing box structure diagram below.
1. Base 2 Packing liner 3 Cone 4 Tightening ring 5 Packing box body 6 Nut
4 The metal armor part is flipped out through 4 to perform grounding treatment on the cable. Then, pass the cable cores through 3 and 2 in sequence.
Five Mix and adjust the two types of SG-100 filling materials into the required filling material, and then add the filling material to the gap and around the cable core wire, making its size close to the inner diameter of part 2. At the same time, add an appropriate amount of filling material to the cavity of part 3.
VI Insert the cone of part 3 into the armor and fit part 2 onto part 3.
7 Screw part 1 onto the entrance hole of the distribution box. Insert the cable that passes through parts 2-6 into part 1, and then screw part 5 onto part 1. This presses part 4 onto the metal armor and the cone of part 3, securing part 2 and part 3 together.
8 Tighten part 6 onto part 5 to secure the sealing ring in part 6 onto the outer sheath of the cable.
Nine After the installation of the packing box, it should be ensured that the packing sleeve is filled with packing without any bubbles or other phenomena to avoid affecting its performance.
Note:
When threading, attention should be paid not to damage the protective sheath of the cable.
Before filling, the cable should be wiped clean, and any excess filling on the parts after filling should be wiped clean.
