Rotary encoder with built-in bearings
Heidenhain's ERN, ECN, and EQN rotary encoders come with bearings and stator couplings for easy installation and short overall length. Its applications include position and speed control for simple measurement tasks and feeding suit drives. The hollow shaft can be directly slid in and fixed on the measured shaft.
Heidenhain's ROD, ROC, and ROQ rotary encoders come with bearings and sealed structures. These encoders are sturdy, durable, and compact in structure. It is connected to the measured shaft by a rotor through a separate coupling, which can compensate for axial motion and different axial degrees between the encoder shaft and the measured shaft.
