GRIMM 7811 Universal Aerosol Generator

Generate monodisperse, polydisperse, and nano aerosols

Used to form aerosol particles of different materials from liquids, ranging from saline solutions to monodisperse or polydisperse suspended particles (such as Latex, glass spheres, etc.). The particle size range depends on the suspension provided, but can vary from a few nanometers to a few micrometers. This aerosol generator is suitable for different liquids such as DOP, DEHS, and saline solutions. It is also applicable to PSL suspension.

There are two pumps inside, one that allows airflow to pass through the nozzle (producing initial concentration aerosols), and the other that provides dry air to dilute and dry the initial aerosols (silica gel desiccant). The flow rate and switch of two pumps are separately controlled, and the dryer is located on the front and can be removed. Dry air is monitored by a flow meter. The instrument can accommodate up to 6 nozzles.

Theory

Generate known types of aerosols with repeatability, adjust the aerosol concentration range by changing the nozzle pressure by altering the pump flow rate. Can generate monodisperse and polydisperse aerosols, including:

At 20 ℃, the solubility of this product in water is 0.02, and the solubility of water in this product is 0.15. Soluble in hydrocarbons, alcohols, ketones, esters, and chlorinated hydrocarbons, insoluble in diols.
