Heavy duty casters refer to casters with relatively high load capacity, which are classified according to their load-bearing capacity. They are relatively light casters, medium casters, etc., and there is no clear boundary. Generally, they range from load-bearing capacity of 500 kilograms to 15 tons, or even higher load casters, and are called heavy duty casters.

Design of heavy-duty caster bracket:

The bracket for heavy-duty casters is usually made of metal materials as the main body, including ordinary steel plate stamping, cast steel forming, die forging steel forming, etc. It is usually assembled in a flat plate manner. The steel plate thickness of heavy-duty casters is generally 8mm, 10mm, 16mm, and above 20mm. At present, Wanda designs 12 ton heavy-duty casters for China Petroleum System, using 30mm thick steel plates and 40mm pallets, effectively ensuring the safety of the loaded products.

Design of the rotating plate for heavy-duty universal wheels:

Heavy duty casters usually use double-layer steel ball tracks, stamped and formed, and heat-treated. For the rotating plate of heavy-duty universal wheels, generally larger force bearing flat ball bearings or flat needle roller bearings are used, matched with cone bearings, effectively improving the load capacity of heavy-duty casters. For special impact resistant heavy-duty universal wheels, the rotating plate is made of forged steel and sorted into shape, effectively avoiding the welding of connecting plate bolts and enhancing the impact resistance of the wheels with greater strength.
