Leica DCM8 Optical Surface Measurement System

Has the best accuracy and repeatability
Does the surface of the product you are viewing have a steep slope or a complex morphology? A high-definition confocal microscope can achieve a vertical resolution of 2 nanometers. Is the product surface you are viewing very flat but with very small peaks and pits? You can choose from the following three interferometric measurement modes: vertical scanning interferometry (VSI); Phase shift interferometry (PSI) or extended phase shift interferometry (ePSI) suitable for resolutions up to 0.1 nanometers. If you need fast and stunning high-definition 2D images, the Leica DCM8 offers both bright and dark field modes.

Quickly capture surface data
Leica DCM8 adopts innovative high-definition microdisplay scanning technology. Due to the absence of moving parts in the sensor head, the device is able to capture data quickly and reproductively. The integrated high-definition CCD camera has a large field of view and can observe a large sample area. For samples with large areas, in order to obtain seamless and accurate models, it is only necessary to choose the ultra fast XY terrain stitching mode.

Can effectively analyze the structure
Our user-friendly LeicaSCAN software is capable of controlling Leica DCM8 devices. Formula schemes, diverse scripts, and statistical analysis can optimize workflow. Do you still need to perform more complex 3D measurement tasks? Then choose our Leica Map software and a complete set of advanced analysis tools. Of course, if you only need two-dimensional images, the Leica Application Suite (LAS) will further expand the measurement capabilities of the system.
It's easy to match your sample
We can configure the Leica DCM8 to suit your samples, from reflective surfaces to surfaces beneath transparent layers, to samples that require larger working distances - we can provide high-quality objectives that meet your needs. For large-sized samples, choose from our adjustable tube and electric stage series. In addition, the system also uses four different colored LED lights, allowing you to choose the wavelength suitable for observing specific materials.

By combining high-performance optical components with high-definition CCD cameras and red, green, blue, and white LED light sources, the Leica DCM8 is able to provide realistic high-definition color images.
