3、 The inspection of pipeline components and welding materials generally requires that the manufacturing unit of pipeline components should be registered with the quality and technical supervision administrative department at or above the provincial level for safety. Manufacturing units that have obtained safety registration certificates should label safety markings on their products. Pipeline components and welding materials must have quality certificates from the manufacturing unit, and products without quality certificates are not allowed to be used.

Before use, if there are any objections to the characteristic data in the quality certificate of pipeline components, necessary non-destructive testing, chemical analysis, and mechanical performance tests should be conducted. Only after passing the tests can they be used. Pipeline components should undergo visual inspection before use, and their quality should meet the following requirements: no defects such as cracks, shrinkage cavities, slag inclusion, folding, and double skin; Defects such as rust, dents, and other mechanical damages should not exceed the geometric dimensions allowed by the corresponding product standards; The machining accuracy, roughness, and geometric dimensions of threads, sealing surfaces, and grooves should meet the requirements of design or manufacturing standards; There is a product identification. If there are any unqualified samples in the sampling inspection or testing according to regulations, the sampling ratio should be doubled according to the original regulations. If there are still unqualified samples, the batch of pipeline components shall not be used and shall be properly labeled and isolated.

The storage of pipeline components should meet the following requirements: storage by category, material, specification, and batch; Stainless steel and carbon steel, low-alloy steel pipeline components shall not come into contact; Pipeline components stored outdoors should be equipped with support and cushion layers; The materials stored on the construction site should be neatly arranged, clearly labeled, and used exclusively for specific materials. When distributing pipeline components, the material, specifications, model, quantity, and identification should be checked. Before cutting materials, proper labeling and transplantation should be done.
