The CD9-K monitor has features such as phase failure, overcurrent, locked rotor, short circuit, undercurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, three-phase imbalance, and startup delay (to avoid high startup currents and separate it from overcurrent action time).

The CD9-M (T) model adds various functions such as leakage current, transmission, communication, automatic start upon incoming call, automatic reset, and start-up methods (star delta start, autotransformer start, frequency sensitive variable resistor start), accumulated running time, fault type query, etc. It can also achieve normal protection control, alarm control, remote monitoring, etc.

The current transformer module and the main display module can be combined into one or installed separately, providing convenience for different installation scenarios.

The monitor uses LED display for various fault operation states.

Using microcomputer and digital processing technology, it has high measurement accuracy, good linearity, accurate and reliable fault resolution, and strong anti-interference ability.

Using E2PROM storage memory technology to achieve parameter setting, the set parameters are still saved after power failure and do not need to be set again. Equipped with setting keys, shift keys, data keys, reset keys, and the ability to set and modify various parameters. One machine is versatile and can replace voltmeters, ammeters, thermal relays, current transformers, time relays, and leakage maintenance devices. Equipped with 4-20mA analog signal output interface and RS-485 remote communication interface, it is convenient to form a network protection monitoring system with a PC.

The protection device also specially adds undercurrent protection, which can operate when the water pump motor is idling to prevent burning out of the water pump or motor, and to alarm or trip during undercurrent operation.
