QTM-500 Rapid Thermal Conductivity Tester/Thermal Conductivity Meter
Quick Thermal Conductivity Meter
Thermal conductivity: The amount of heat transferred per unit area of a material along the direction of heat flux at a unit temperature gradient per unit time. The unit is watts per meter Kelvin [W/(m · K)].
Local heating is carried out using a linear electrical conductor (hot wire) buried in the length direction of the sample, with the hot wire carrying a known constant power current, that is, the power remains constant in time and the length direction of the sample. The thermal conductivity can be calculated based on the power of the hot wire and the temperature at two known time intervals after heating. The temperature rise as a function of time is the thermal conductivity of the tested sample.
QTM-500 Rapid Thermal Conductivity Tester/Thermal Conductivity Tester is suitable for:

QTM-500 Rapid Thermal Conductivity Tester/Main Features of Thermal Conductivity Tester:
1. Quickly and easily measure the thermal conductivity of various types of samples.
2. Depending on the type of sample and temperature measurement, appropriate sensors (probes) can be selected.
3. LCD display screen, which can directly observe the temperature rise curve during measurement.
4. The heating curve is displayed in logarithmic time, which confirms the linearity of the measured values.
5. Automatically determine the appropriate heating current value for the sample (when using PD-11 sensor).
6. After automatically determining that the sample temperature is stable, fully automatic measurement is carried out.
7. Can measure thin film or paper samples (optional SOFT-QTM needs to be purchased separately).
