Product Details

In order to effectively measure reflections in powders and thick liquids, Wenyi Optoelectronics has produced this specially designed series of reflection probes. The probe allows users to simply immerse the probe into powder or thick liquid for measurement.



The illumination end of the probe (6-core) is connected to the light source and transmitted to the sample through a bundle of six optical fibers. At the probe tip, a 45 degree ultraviolet fused silica window (sapphire window can be used) illuminates the sample and collects the indirect reflection transmitted from the optical fiber to the spectrometer. The 45 degree angle of the probe can prevent direct reflection of the window during measurement, thereby improving the dynamic range of the measurement.

The tilted reflection probe is suitable for reflection and backscattering measurements of powders and dense solutions. It has the same 6-in-1 fiber bundle configuration as our standard reflective probe, but with a small 45 º angle window from the tip of the fiber bundle. When the probe is immersed in powder or dense solution, this can reduce the specular reflection effect and keep the probe in direct contact with these samples for simple and consistent measurements.
