The new Zeiss objective lens series C Epilan Aphromat is specially designed for fast rotating confocal systems. These high numerical aperture objectives not only have excellent performance in the visible light range, but also at 405 nanometers (the wavelength used to obtain confocal images).
Compared to traditional point scanning confocal microscopes, the Smartproof 5 using fast dial confocal technology has superior performance.
