1、 Application of turbidity meter:
The XG-1A turbidity meter adopts the principle of scattered light and is suitable for testing water turbidity in industries such as water supply, steel, epidemic prevention stations, and chemical industry. In order to control the turbidity of water and meet the specified water quality standards.

3、 Characteristics:
1. Easy to use: This instrument uses a semiconductor laser and a constant light source circuit as the light source, and adopts dual optical paths and dual photoelectric receivers, which have good stability and do not require frequent adjustments during use. Once the water sample is placed, it can be read and the turbidity value will be displayed digitally.

2. Long lifespan of light source: This instrument emits unique semiconductor laser light, which has a lifespan several orders of magnitude longer than incandescent lamps (about 350 hours) (patent number 99227685.3), about tens of thousands of hours.

4、 Usage:
1. Turn on the power switch, pour the water sample into the glass sample tube, dry the water stains outside the glass sample tube with a roll of paper, insert it into the sample holder, align the white line on the sample tube with the white dot on the sample holder, cover it with a black circular cover, and wait for the number to stabilize before reading.
a、 2. Attention: b、 There is a white straight line on the sample tube, which must be aligned with the white point on the sample holder.
b、 The sample tube must be clean and rinsed with distilled water after use,
Invert after washing to prevent dust from entering.
c、 Add the water sample into the sample tube without allowing bubbles to enter, and use the defoaming method to let it stand for a period of time.



5、 Calibration of instruments:
Turn on the power switch, pour zero turbidity water into the glass sample tube and place it in the sample holder. Cover it with a black circular cover and wait for the reading to stabilize. Use a small screwdriver to adjust the zero potentiometer on the right side of the instrument's front to make the display read 0.0. When adjusting to the full position, operate the configured 10NTU or 400NTU standard solution according to the above method. After the reading stabilizes, use a small screwdriver to adjust the amplitude modulation potentiometer on the left side of the instrument's front to make the reading 10NTU or 400NTU.

6、 Preparation of zero turbidity water and standard turbidity solution:
1. For the preparation of zero turbidity water and Formazine standard solution, please refer to the "Standard Test Method for Drinking Water" GB5750-85
2. Preparation of 10NTU standard solution: Take 2.5ml of 400NTU standard solution, pour it into a 100ml volumetric flask, then pour the zero turbidity water to the mark, shake well, and prepare as needed.
