Installation instructions and precautions
1. Before connecting the surge protector in series to the protected equipment, the power must be turned off and live operation is strictly prohibited.
2. Installed in series between the lines of the protected equipment, the interface connection must be reliable, and the surge protector has input (IN) and output (OUT) markings. Connect the output terminal to the protected device, do not connect it in reverse. Otherwise, lightning strikes will damage the surge protector and the equipment will not receive effective protection (refer to the installation wiring diagram).
3. The grounding wire (PE) must be reliably connected to the grounding wire of the surge protection system, and the length must be short.
4. When installing the grounding wire, the equipment should be disconnected to avoid damage caused by strong currents such as welding entering from the grounding end.
5. Connect the grounding wire of the surge protector to the metal casing of the equipment to the grounding busbar.
