How should a manual water quality sampling pump be installed?
Date: 2021-07-29Read: 14
Manual water quality sampling pumps have been widely used in the field of water environment monitoring. In daily use, in order to ensure the normal operation of the manual water quality sampling pump, we should regularly conduct systematic routine inspections of the water quality sampler to detect potential faults as early as possible.
Early detection of potential faults may include some consumables, such as pump tubes. Pump tubes should be replaced regularly, and the replacement cycle is related to the frequency of instrument use and the detection of water samples. Generally, it takes 2-5 months, and the cumulative working time of pump tubes is about 350 hours. The hose used in manual water quality sampling pumps is usually a matching component, and other pump tubes cannot be used as a substitute during use, otherwise it may cause losses.
Due to the precision components of the pump head and pump tube of the water quality manual sampling pump, their installation requirements are extremely strict, and many users do not know how to replace them. Below, we will provide an overall introduction for everyone.
1. Installation method of pump head:
The pump head is connected to the driver with two screws (M4). If two pump heads are used in series, the provided extended screws should be used. First, insert the two screws into the installation holes respectively, then insert the shaft head into the slot of the driver coupling, and tighten the screws separately.
Note: The pump head is already installed on the driver at the factory, and should only be disassembled for cleaning or replacing the pump head. The above steps should be followed during installation.
2. Installation method of hose:
Rotate the lever counterclockwise to lift the upper pressure block, place the hose into the gap between the upper pressure block and the lower support, and then rotate the lever clockwise to press down the upper pressure block. The hose installation is complete. Adjust the pipe clamps on both sides of the pump head to tighten the hose.
Attention: Please confirm that the hose installation is correct before starting to operate this pump.
