Fire air respirator is a necessary personal protective equipment for firefighters to perform tasks in hazardous environments such as toxic, oxygen deficient, and smoke. It can provide clean air and isolate harmful gases.
Usage scenarios
Fire extinguishing (thick smoke, high temperature environment)
Chemical leakage accidents (toxic gases or vapors)
Rescue in confined spaces (such as basements, tunnels)
Other hypoxic environments (industrial accidents, natural disasters)
operating procedure
Before inspection:
Is the pressure of the gas cylinder sufficient (≥ 90% of the rated pressure).
Mask sealing test (negative pressure test).
Is the alarm device functioning properly.
Wearing:
Carry the gas cylinder on your back and adjust the shoulder/waist straps to a comfortable position.
Wear the hood and ensure it is sealed, tighten the headband.
Open the gas cylinder valve, connect the gas supply valve, and take a deep breath to start the gas supply.
In use:
Monitor the pressure gauge and pay attention to the alarm signal.
Avoid vigorous exercise to prolong gas supply time.
evacuate:
Reserve enough air for safe exit (usually with a 5-minute margin).
