Traditional manual measurement methods are inefficient and have limited coverage, making it difficult to meet real-time monitoring needs. The ultrasonic snow depth sensor, as an "intelligent measuring scale" for environmental perception, dynamically captures snow depth data through non-contact measurement technology: its transmitting end continuously emits high-frequency ultrasonic pulses to the ground, and when the sound waves encounter the snow surface, they are reflected. The receiving end calculates the round-trip time difference of the sound waves and combines sound speed and temperature compensation algorithms to accurately analyze the current snow thickness; Even in complex environments such as low temperatures, strong winds, or drifting snow, the built-in self-cleaning oscillator and anti-interference filtering module of the sensor can ensure stable data output, providing reliable and timely snow depth information support for meteorological research, agricultural disaster prevention, and traffic management departments.

The installation location of the equipment should be chosen in an open area
The installation of the cross arm of the equipment should ensure a minimum of 1M
There should be no obstructions above the equipment
The distance from the equipment to the ground level should be within 20cm to 200cm. To ensure measurement accuracy, a recommended distance of 100cm is recommended
The equipment installation bracket should be kept level, and the reflection ground of the sensor should be treated horizontally. The reflection point should be within a radius of 1 meter to avoid weed interference
