There are four types of shut-off valves: electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electro-hydraulic linkage. The valve body types include ball valve, butterfly valve, globe valve, gate valve, and plug valve. Pneumatic shut-off valves are divided into single acting/normally closed and double acting/normally open types, controlled by gas source pressure. Electric shut-off valves and electro-hydraulic linkage shut-off valves are set with switch action modes according to operating conditions and controlled by power signals at the factory. The hydraulic cut-off valve is controlled by a hand-operated oil pump and a hydraulic oil pressure system. The valve body materials include WCB/carbon steel, CF8/304 stainless steel, CF8M/316 stainless steel, and CF3M/316L stainless steel. The connection methods include flange, thread, and welding.

Applicable media include liquid ammonia, gas, liquefied petroleum gas, diesel, gasoline, methanol, toluene, and flammable gas/liquid media.
