MHYV mining explosion-proof network cable is a specialized communication transmission cable for underground coal mines. Its core advantage lies in its ability to adapt to hazardous environments such as explosion-proof, anti-static, and flame-retardant. At the same time, it can stably transmit low-frequency analog signals or low-speed digital signals. It is a key transmission carrier for safety monitoring and management systems such as coal mine gas monitoring, personnel positioning, and dispatch communication.
Key usage and selection precautions
1. Core requirements for purchasing
-Must have MA safety mark: mandatory certification mark for mining products. Cables without MA mark are strictly prohibited from being used underground and the validity of the product certification certificate needs to be verified;
-Compliance with standard specifications: It must comply with MT/T 818-2018 "Communication Cables for Coal Mines" and relevant requirements of coal mine safety regulations. When purchasing, the manufacturer's production qualifications and testing reports should be requested;
-Matching actual needs: Select the corresponding number of core pairs based on transmission distance and number of devices (such as 1 pair for a single gas probe, 5 pairs or 10 pairs for multiple devices in parallel), and prioritize conventional conductor specifications such as 7/0.28mm to ensure universality and compatibility.
2. Installation and usage specifications
-Laying method: Fixed laying is the main method, using cable hooks, cable trays or conduit laying to avoid direct dragging, squeezing or contact with sharp rocks, and to prevent damage to the sheath;
-Environmental avoidance: It is prohibited to use MHYVRP with soft structure shielding in areas where equipment frequently moves, such as mining faces, to avoid conductor breakage or sheath wear;
-Joint processing: The cable joint should use a mining explosion-proof junction box, which should be sealed, insulated, and shielded (if it is an extension link) to prevent gas and dust from entering the joint and ensure signal transmission continuity;
-Daily maintenance: Regularly check whether the cable sheath is damaged and whether the joints are loose. If any problems are found, replace or repair them in a timely manner to avoid monitoring signal interruption or communication failure caused by cable faults.
