Standard for Mining Insulated Cables
Date: 2022-01-20Read: 5
Except for the national standard cable (rigid), all other flexible mineral cables are enterprise standards.
Relatively speaking, the national standard cable technology is high, the construction is complex and rigorous, because the metal sheath itself is difficult to bend, the installation difficulty is high, and expensive specialized accessories are required. The fire resistance performance is also high with BS6387; The installation of flexible cables is similar to ordinary cables, with a low construction threshold, but the fire resistance performance reaches BS6387. MHYSV mining communication cable manufacturers mainly choose matching products based on the building's fire protection level and importance in their applications.
Rigid mineral edge cables cannot be produced for a long time due to process limitations. Special accessories are used for installation, and special tools such as baking guns and bending wheels can achieve a bending radius of 6D during installation. Flexible mineral cables can be continuously produced, and different metal sheath structures have different bending properties. Domestic processes mainly include copper tubes (rigid), aluminum tubes, horizontally welded corrugated copper tubes, and interlocking armored metal sheaths. The allowable bending radius decreases in sequence, as small as 7D (D is the outer diameter of the cable, and the bending radius of ordinary cables is about 10D). In terms of design and construction, the actual site and cable tray limitations should be considered, and suitable products should be selected. Generally speaking, the smaller the allowable bending radius, the less difficult the installation.
Rigid mineral cables themselves are relatively hard and also have strong impact resistance. Flexible mineral cables have strong flexibility, and their impact resistance depends on the specific structural composition of the corresponding cable. But all mineral cables, except for the interlocking armor type, are difficult to lay through curved pipelines, especially large-sized cables.
