Common models and specifications of cables for mining coal mining machines, and precautions for use
Date: 2025-07-24Read: 7
Mining coal mining machine cable is a high-voltage power cable designed specifically for mobile equipment such as coal mining machines underground in coal mines. It needs to meet the requirements of wear resistance, tensile strength, flame retardancy, and explosion prevention under extreme working conditions.
Common models and specifications
MCP-0.66/1.14KV: Shielded rubber sheathed flexible cable for coal mining machines, suitable for coal mining machines with a rated voltage of 0.66/1.14KV.
MCPJB-0.66/1.14KV: Shielded monitoring braided reinforced rubber sheathed flexible cable for coal mining machines, suitable for coal mining machines with a rated voltage of 0.66/1.14KV.
MCPTJ-0.66/1.14KV: Metal shielded monitoring rubber sheathed flexible cable for coal mining machines, suitable for coal mining machines with a rated voltage of 0.66/1.14KV.
MCP-1.9/3.3KV: Shielded rubber sheathed flexible cable for coal mining machines and similar equipment with rated voltage of 1.9/3.3KV.
MCPTJ-1.9/3.3KV: Metal shielded monitoring rubber sheathed flexible cable for coal mining machines, suitable for coal mining machines and similar equipment with rated voltage of 1.9/3.3kV and below.
Precautions for use
Cable laying and hanging: When laying, it should be consistent with the direction of the tunnel, kept horizontal and vertical, and the bending radius at the turning point should not be less than 10 times the outer diameter of the cable; The distance between suspension points in horizontal or inclined tunnels shall not exceed 2m, and in vertical shafts shall not exceed 6m, and cables shall not be hung across each other.
Cable selection and routing: Choose appropriate cables based on the underground environment to avoid laying in areas with high concentrations of gas and coal dust; Ensure that the rated voltage and long-term allowable operating temperature of the cable meet the mining requirements.
Cable operation and maintenance: When put into operation, it shall be inspected by a dedicated electrician, and the cables of mobile equipment shall be inspected by a dedicated person every shift; Regularly inspect the connection points between cables and explosion-proof equipment to ensure a secure connection; Properly coil and place cables to avoid excessive bending or twisting.
Environment and safety: Keep the cables and their surrounding environment clean and dry, and avoid installation in damp or corrosive environments; If the cable malfunctions or is damaged, it should be repaired or replaced by professional personnel.
