High current generatorUsage:

When conducting large current tests, correctly connect the working circuit according to the circuit diagram of this product. Choose the position of the large and small range switches according to the magnitude of the output current. First, return the regulator to zero, then press the start test button (green). At this point, hold the regulator handle and slowly rotate the regulator's handwheel clockwise while watching the ammeter until the desired current value is reached. Once the set value is reached, immediately turn the regulator handwheel counterclockwise back to zero, press the stop button, and cut off the power.

The current regulator is a dry-type high current generator produced by our company, equipped with an autotransformer to output voltage (i.e. the input voltage of the generator) and obtain different required high currents.

Notes:

1. The TD and SA casings must be grounded, and personal accidents and safety measures should not be ignored due to low voltage operation.

2. The wire from the secondary of the current collector to the test port should not be too long, and the cross-sectional area should be sufficient (the current density can be considered as 6-8 A/mm2). The contact surface should be cleaned (it can be fine, otherwise the joint will heat up and the current may not reach the rated value).

3. Before starting work, check that the power supply (TD to SA lead) has sufficient capacity (SA-2K and SA-4K can be considered as 50A), otherwise the heating and voltage drop of the power supply line will affect the normal operation of AD903.

4. Both TD and SA casings must be grounded to ensure personal safety.

5. There should be no flammable materials on the work site. Sufficient fire extinguishing equipment should be prepared for long-term temperature rise tests.

6. Continuous heating test, there should be someone on duty on site. Regularly check the heating condition of the current source equipment, wires, and connectors, and keep records. Due to fluctuations in grid voltage, pay attention to adjusting TD to maintain the rated test current.

8. The experimental work should comply with the relevant provisions of the electrical safety work regulations and formulate practical safety measures.
