Explosion proof distribution box is a type of distribution box with explosion-proof performance, suitable for electrical wiring in flammable and explosive places such as petrochemical plants, oil platforms, chemical, pharmaceutical, coal, smelting, shipbuilding, textiles, etc.

  

There are three main points for selection: according to the principle of equipment selection, according to the principle of explosion-proof type, and according to the principle of on-site environment.

  

1. The selection principle of explosive electrical equipment must be adapted to the degree of danger of explosive mixtures. The degree of danger of explosive mixtures refers to the explosion level and ignition temperature group of the explosive mixture. The selected explosion-proof electrical equipment must be compatible with the explosion level, group, and hazardous area level of the explosive mixture, otherwise safety cannot be guaranteed. In addition, when there are two or more explosive substances with different levels of danger in an area, the explosion-proof structure corresponding to the explosion level and the natural temperature level with higher danger must be selected.

  

In non hazardous areas, ordinary electrical equipment is usually used. However, when containers containing explosive substances are placed in non hazardous areas, danger may also occur in abnormal situations. For example, hazardous substances may overflow due to container corrosion, be discharged due to worker error, or form high temperature and pressure due to abnormal reactions, causing damage and leakage. Equipment and containers. Therefore, the possibility of accidental danger must be considered.

  

2. Select the appropriate explosion-proof type and choose explosion-proof structures suitable for hazardous areas. What explosion-proof structure must be used in any hazardous area of any nature. The explosion-proof performance of different structures varies, and the appropriate explosion-proof type must be selected based on the type, equipment type, and the level of danger in the installation site.

  

3. The explosion-proof performance mentioned in this article is based on standard environments. Explosion proof equipment can be divided into indoor use and outdoor use. Indoor equipment is used outdoors with an ambient temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. Outdoor equipment should adapt to outdoor environments and require measures such as sun protection, rain protection, and sand prevention. In addition, some devices can also be used in corrosive or toxic environments, high temperature, high pressure, or low temperature environments.
