A more differentiated approach can be adopted to perform seasonal and cyclic particle prediction with higher accuracy. This supports timely planning of measures to prevent particulate matter pollution and protect health, differentiated implementation of measures to protect populations, and implementation of mitigation strategies to reduce pollution, such as through predictive traffic control.

In order to better understand the fine dust input and its causes, the equipment can be equipped with corresponding weather stations to provide supplementary weather information. Sensors for measuring temperature, humidity, and pressure are standard.
