Aerospace manufacturers have some of the most stringent requirements in their production and QA processes. Most of these requirements can be divided into four categories:
- specificationsThe elites in the aerospace industry have their own requirements and standards for quality control. The X-ray system must be able to meet these strict requirements.
- TraceabilityEach casting product must be tracked throughout the entire production cycle and records must be kept for several years after production is completed. The X-ray system must have robust and customizable archiving capabilities.
- qualityDue to the increasingly lightweight materials used in the aerospace industry, quality requirements have become more stringent. X-ray equipment must be able to reliably detect and classify small defects.
- complianceThe government and manufacturing industries in the aerospace industry comply with very strict standards, from DICONDE standards to MAI standards, and X-ray systems must comply with all regulations.
VJT provides customized solutions, configurable products, and testing services for aerospace manufacturers.
