Explosion proof pressure plate

Open when the internal explosion pressure exceeds the static explosion pressure of the ventilation plate. The quantity, size, and burst pressure of explosion-proof plates are calculated based on the equipment volume, strength, and fuel characteristics.

The rectangular shape description of the Fike CV explosion-proof pressure plate is a high-performance explosion-proof pressure plate designed specifically to provide quick and non shattering openings in industrial process equipment in the event of dust or gas explosions. Discharge excessive overpressure and reduce the internal explosion pressure to a level that the process equipment can withstand. Fike explosion-proof relief valves come in the following types, each of which provides an ideal solution for specific applications or industries. CV: Used for most industrial applications where the working pressure (positive and negative) is close to atmospheric pressure. CV-S: Designed for applications where the working pressure is close to the burst pressure range or where there may be high vacuum pressure.

All ventilation openings are equipped with an integral gasket. Fike provides PTFE, EPDM, silicone, and aramid fiber gaskets. The accompanying flange must use a flange with a ventilation plate. Flanges need to be ordered separately or provided by the user according to Fike specifications. Refer to the table. Optional accessory: Explosion indicator - provides an electrical signal indicating the opening of the explosion vent.
