DMX-JC9002SArchive CD detectorFeatures
Archive detection improves data storage security
The main functions of the DMX-JC9002S detector include pre recording detection, pre archiving detection, and post archiving detection. The detection software supports three types of optical discs: CD-R, DVD-R, and BD-R, which can detect TE/FE before archiving and PI/PO after archiving. Among them, BD-R supports LDC long-range error correction code block and BIS subcode burst error detection.
● Pre record testing (TE, FE);
Pre filing Inspection (PIPO);
● Post Archive Inspection (PIPO);
Refer to industry standards
DAT 38-2021 Technical Requirements and Application Specifications for Archive Grade Recordable Discs CD-R, DVD-R, DVD+R

Archive CD management method
Archive level CD
The prerequisite for archive management of CDs is to use archive level CDs for archive management. Archive level CDs need to undergo strict testing of parameters such as jitter, symmetry, and reflectivity before leaving the factory. The technical specifications of archive level CDs should be higher than industry standards, and key indicators such as bit error rate should be more stringent;
● Pre filing inspection
The main purpose is to detect the original bit error rate and unrecoverable error rate of optical disc data, and only those that meet the standard requirements can be archived.
● Inspection after archiving
Regularly check the bit error rate and unrecoverable error rate of optical disc data, and over time, the bit error rate data gradually increases; Regularly detect the error rate of disc data, issue warnings, and promptly migrate disc data to ensure the security and reliability of disc data.
