CPEC310It is a complete closed-loop eddy current related flux observation system, suitable for long-term positioning observation of CO in the atmospheric boundary layer2, H2O, Heat and momentum exchange. The complete system composition of CPEC310 includes EC155 closed-circuit infrared CO2/H2O analyzer, CSAT3A three-dimensional ultrasonic anemometer, CR6 data collector, sampling pump, three valve module, can automatically correct the zero point and span of carbon dioxide (manual correction for water), and is compatible with CDM-A116 analog input expansion module, allowing for the integration of additional sensors.

The gas analyzer is equipped with a patented vortex inlet (US Patent No. 9217692) and a small sample cell (5.9ml), which has a lower flow rate than other closed-loop vortex systems while maintaining good frequency response (cutoff frequency 4.3Hz). In addition, compared to using traditional inline filters, this patented design allows the entire system to maintain ideal frequency response while requiring almost no maintenance. The lower flow rate results in the power consumption of CPEC310 being lower than the total power of all closed-loop vortex systems, only 12W. The complete set of CPEC310 is produced by Campbell Corporation in the United States, including a data collector and a tool for calculating and correcting flux dataEasyFlux ™DLSoftware makes CPEC310 a more reliable closed-loop vortex system.

The small sample pool volume of the gas analyzer (5.9 mL) minimizes the sample residence time as much as possible (at rated flow rate) 50ms@7L /min)。 This provides excellent frequency response (5.8 Hz half power bandwidth) and lower total system power (12 W).

CPEC310System control box

CPEC310There are two system control parts: one is placed inside a fiberglass protective box and equipped with a CR6 data collector, pump module, three valve module, and optional CDM-A116 digital 16 channel expansion module; One is the EC100 used for data computation and processing. CPEC310 can also be equipped with a scrubbing module for automatic zeroing of EC155.

CPEC310pump module

The pump module is a standard component of the CPEC310 system, consisting of a small double headed diaphragm pump and a brushless DC motor installed inside a fiberglass housing. The pump module is connected to the CPEC310 system control box through an integral cable. The CPEC310 system control box provides power, temperature measurement and control, pressure measurement and control, and pump speed measurement and control.
